Our Story

Born out of our family’s morning mantra, BYB Apparel empowers kids to be their best selves. Imagine a world where children thrived with confidence and mindfulness, spreading positivity despite distractions or obstacles. An acronym for Be Your Best, BYB helps realize this dream, as kids literally wear their full hearts and strong minds on their shirts. The effect is contagious with fashion forward clothing that kids are proud to wear.

The magic started in 2014 with a question posed to Jaxon each day before preschool, “What are you going to be today?” Now age 7, our oldest son’s response remains the same – “Awesome!”

The mantra has become a calling to seek greatness. We’re eager to share how it uplifts our entire family of five each day. Before I leave for work, my kids and I call Jesse to ask daddy his intention each morning. With anticipation, even the baby waits to hear “Awesome” before the kids respond with the same affirmation. It’s nothing short of awesome and awe-inspiring. 

Experts agree: Having a positive mantra does wonders for children’s health, well-being and confidence. 

Our mission is to make BYB much more than a clothing line. Sizes are available in 2T through 10/12.
